Getting Back to Natural Health Takes Time, Rome Wasn't Built in a Day...

...as a matter of fact, it took centuries. Natural health like anything intricate, beautiful and complex, takes time. It took nine months for you to be handmade in your mother's womb by an omnipotent artisan.
You have an unseen creator's stamp that says "Made by God." Handle with care (you only get one). Hand wash. Hand dry. Only natural ingredients, do NOT add chemicals.
If we'd follow the directions of the manufacturer we'd find out that our body has an innate ability to be healthy and stay balanced. We'd find out that we don't have Poor Genetics Syndrome but a case of I'll Eat What I Want Disease.
We all have genetic tendencies, but tendencies don't have to be a life sentence. Tendencies can be overcome. If you want the most efficient use out of the body you've been given, then you'll pay attention to the Manufacturer's directions.
Since we live in a world that is fast paced and wanting immediate gratification we pick food that is processed, refined and preserved. We are hungry right now and we don't have the time to spare to make something from scratch. The problem is our digestive system was made to process natural ingredients. We get the most benefit from foods that are as ripe and as close to when they were harvested as possible.
Each organ or component of the digestive system is very complex. All the organs of this system have unique glands, cells, fluids and functions. And they all play a very specific role. They take food in it's natural state and break it down, dispense the nutrients to the body cells and quickly eliminate leftover toxins and by-products.
Dr. Michael Colgan explains why patience is the key in his book titled Optimum Sports Nutrition. He explains that unlike drugs, nutrients do not have rapid effects. There is no quick fix. The idea of nutrition is to build a better body. You have to wait on nature to turn over body cells that are constructed entirely out of the nutrients you eat,. In 3-4 months your whole blood supply is completely replaced because a blood cell lasts 60-120 days. In 6 months almost all the proteins in your body die and are replaced, even the DNA of your genes. In a year all your bones and even the enamel of your teeth is replaced.
Foods in their natural state have a nutrient synergy. Vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, water, fiber and enzymes are in the food itself to aid in digestion and assimilation in the body. Even the energy the food absorbs from the sun is used by the body. The body needs this balance of nutrients to provide exactly the right fuel for the cells to carry out their functions.
The further away food is from it's natural state, the less your body can benefit from it. As a matter of fact that processed, refined and preserved food does not digest well and may in fact cling to the walls in your intestine and not get eliminated.
The Royal Society of Medicine in the UK did a major study and found that a dysfunctional large intestine or colon is the major contributor to 85% of all disease and illness. That "pot" belly or spare tire may in fact be a build up of stagnant waste material. Material that is not digesting, but in fact, just rotting. Rotting and plugging up your "sewer" system. The toxins that are normally excreted are backing up into your body and causing problems with the body's normal functions.
It's no wonder so many people have acid reflux, gas, bloating, weight gain, bad breath and low immunity. We are rotting from the inside out and most people don't even know it. Most people think untoned abdomens, lack of energy and focus and getting chronically sick are just part of the aging process. Unfortunately for them, that process is starting in their 20's not 60's, 70's or 80's.
Poor digestion starts the process of acquiring chronic conditions and illnesses.
It's time to wake up and get back to natural foods and natural health. And the sooner the better. For Rome wasn't built in a day and if you've found yourself with a chronic illness your body will also take time to return to it's normal, natural state the way the Manufacturer had intended. It is possible, just follow the Creator's instructions.
