Making the Law of Attraction Work for You, the Column- Part 4
By Steve Taylor
Happy snow day-to all of you. As I write this column, my aching body is bemoaning the Herculean effort that was required to move 18 inches of snow in 50 mile per hour winds from one spot on the driveway to another in the street. I don’t know about you, but as a Boomer in my prime, I have had-it with the snow and cold. It is time to trade my shovel and snow blower for my favorite Taylor golf clubs and a 60’s convertible. I want to play golf during the winter months instead of shoveling the cold dandruff of angels. To make this dream a reality, I am in the process of completing a certification course to become a Project Manager or PMP which will allow me work anywhere in the world. If I had my druthers, I would like to relocate to Puerto Rico, Santa Fe, or Scottsdale to pursue all of my Boomer driven passions. A note to Old Man Winter- enough already! Use Head and Shoulders like Troy does.
This week, the topic is the Law of Intentionality. This law is an important one for us to incorporate into our foundation for improving the quality of our life. As we focus on building our foundation, you continue to include several concepts that you may have heard about but never intentionally added to our daily lives, up until now. By engaging all of what you have learned to date from reading these articles, you are engaging the Law of Intentionality. So, congratulations to all of you.
A Sense of Purpose
I am engaging the Law of Intentionality by recognizing a need to change certain parts of my life in order to live the life that I truly want. I have done this on purpose and with a sense of purpose. This is one of the key points to the Law of Intentionality. Engaging activities with a sense of purpose activates the Law of Intentionality in your life.
So, by taking the certification course, I have challenged myself by pursuing the PMP certification, not only because it has exceptional value in the consulting marketplace, but also because it can improve the quality of my life through better pay and work conditions. Inspired by one of my favorite books, The Four-Hour Work Week.
Once again, my friends. My intentional pursuit of this quality-of-life changing strategy is a key factor in engaging the Law of Intentionality.
Sick-and-Tired of Being, Sick-and-Tiredr
We all have dreams, aspirations, and desires, yet, our lack of commitment to ourselves prevent us from achieving them. We rationalize away our dreams with excuses that include relationships, money, health, and needing to stay close to our extended family. In essence, we intentionally sabotage our dreams through rationale thinking. Congratulations! Each of us does it because we have been conditioned to think that subjugating our needs, even at this stage of our lives as Boomers, is the right thing to do.
The operative question becomes this. Are you sick-and-tired of being sick and tired of everything? It is time to engage the Law of Intentionality!
Visualize on Purposer
From this point forward, do the little things that you know will make you happy, but not compromise your health or values. I am not suggesting that you go on an ice cream and brownie diet but I am suggesting that you go to that art gallery that you have been planning to visit for the past year. Do something that you enjoy, with the express purpose of enjoying yourself. Take a few minutes to visualize what you want your life’s purpose to be. Create an inventory of all of the activities that you are engaged in. Do they contribute to the construct of who you want to be and the life that you want to live? If not, determine which activities have limited value and wean them from your daily routine. Remember, this is an intentional act to improve your quality of life. Keep weeding out the activities that have little value and replace them with those that help you move towards that intentionally designed vision of your best life. Visualize on purpose! Taking these actions will engage the Law of Intentionality and make a valuable contribution towards building the foundation for your great life.
Next week we talk about the importance of your belief systems, the power of positive thinking, and how they bring the Law of Attraction into focus.

What Exactly is a Rizz App?
At its core, a rizz app is an AI-driven communication assistant designed to help users craft more engaging, witty, and personalized messages. These apps use advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze the context of a conversation. By uploading a screenshot of a match's bio or an ongoing chat, the AI generates several response options tailored to the s
