I have spent the last 25 years scuba diving and sell gadgets for scuba at ScubaBasics.com. I want to inform this so the article doesn’t lose its message. Yes, not only I sell Scuba Equipments I also is in love this sport.
Since scuba diving is becoming a part of the main stream of society, enthusiasts have struggled with how to get their first gear of scuba rig. I want to share my thoughts about it. You are going to get diving equipment that should not fail while you are deep in water. Do NOT buy or use scuba diving equipment that has not been serviced or reviewed by a accredited expert. It is not worth risking your life to save a few bucks. Please do not take this statement lightly.
You can get confused when purchasing scuba gear for the first time, especially because there are so many selections to choose from. You can get confused from what is actually needed when purchasing your scuba kit. It is very common to see. A novice diving enthusiast enters the diving store and stares at the wall of Mask, Snorkel and fins and they stand in awe.
The truth is, purchasing scuba gear is not that complicated if you stay focused on what’s important. You need to always remember that no matter what other divers suggest, it is your gear and it needs to perform for your style of diving. Don't allow your purchase be determined by trivial things like color availability. I assure you the fish really don’t care if you are color coordinated or not.
In this series of articles, I’ll make you to focus on how you will use your gear and stay focused on what’s important to achieve a safe and enjoyable dive.
In the next article, I will discuss the most important question. What should I need to buy first?
