If we deprive our bodies of a single necessary nutrient- for example, iron, calcium or an essential amino acid-chemical and electromagnetic imbalance in the blood, bones, and nervous system will result. The longer and more severe the deprivation, the worse the symptoms can become.
Similarly, if we take too many of the wrong kinds of nutrients into our bodies- for example, too many fats, proteins, or calories- the resulting excesses can lower the vitality of the body by blocking the flow of blood and, with it, oxygen and nutrients.
Common sense tells us that the fastest and safest route to restoring chemical imbalance, health, and energy to a diseased and tired body is to cleanse and feed the blood and cells with a full spectrum of vital nutrients.
Fortunately, Nature has provided excellent sources of these necessary nutrients in fresh fruits, vegetables, sprouts, greens, whole grains, grasses, seeds, nuts, seafood and dairy products. Excess protein, fat, or acid wastes are stirred up and removed with the help of these nutritious, cleansing foods. Once cleansed our cells become charged with the electromagnetic energies of these fresh foods and juices.
For nearly a century, the emphasis of health care in Western nations has been on the treatment of symptoms for which the cause is not known. Today, the focus is changing, thanks to many open-minded physicians, nutritionists, and other health care professionals. In this view, symptoms of disease are regarded as outward signs of a general lack of balance and harmony in the sick person's life.
To treat the individual, advocates of this philosophy prescribe a health-building lifestyle, rather than drugs. The purpose of this health-building lifestyle is to cleanse and strengthen the body from within. It results over the long run in freedom from all symptoms. The premise behind the health-building lifestyle is that, given the right fuel and care, the body is capable of strict and long-term adherence to the health-building lifestyle.
For instance, in her book, How I Conquered Cancer Naturally, author Edyie Mae Hunsberger testified that by switching from a diet laden with salt, refined flour, and processed foods to one of live, whole natural foods, the course of her disease was reversed.
While Edyie Mae's case history does not represent adequate scientific proof in itself, her experience and that of many others has given us observable evidence that a nutritious diet will both cleanse and strengthen the body when it is combined with proper rest and exercise. A stronger, cleaner system can better defend itself against the million of germs, stresses, and potential carcinogens we are exposed to daily. This philosophy forms the basis of the natural foods revolution.
By drinking nutritious fresh fruit and vegetable juices, you will be taking an important step on the path to symptom-free living through a health-building lifestyle.
