CONGESTION CLEARING TEA

Mince a tablespoon each of ginger root and fresh garlic, add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and honey for flavor.

Place these inside a coffee mug and add 8 ounces of boiling water. Let this sit covered for ten mins. Strain the bits from the fluid, enjoy.
MORNING LIVER TONIC SMOOTHIE RECIPE
To be taken upon rising, before eating breakfast.

Whirl these ingredients in your blender until smooth. Amounts can be adjusted according to your taste preference

* a whole inch fresh ginger, minced
* a whole tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
* one clove of garlic
* a couple of Tbsp apple cider vinegar
* one apple, chopped small
* ½ small beet, diced
* a whole stick celery, chopped small
* several sprigs of parsley, chopped small
* one cup filtered water

The emulsification of the water and oil are aided by the addition of apple cider vinegar. Garlic will lose its potency once it is cut. For these reasons, it's best to consume this tonic before it separates.

To increase the effect of this tonic, drink it over a number of days, raising the number of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and garlic cloves. For the second day use two tablespoons of olive oil and 2 cloves, on the 3rd day use three tablespoons and 3 cloves, and so forth, but don’t go beyond 5 tablespoons and cloves.
