I attended a wonderful lecture a few nights ago, given by Richard Feather Anderson. A portion of the presentation focused on Sacred Sites and their relationship to the geography and geometry of the surrounding areas. When it was point out, in one example, that certain stones were placed in spots that corresponded to the hills and mountains behind them, a question from the audience followed. The question went like this, “How did those people figure all that out?” Now this is a very natural question from someone who lives in our culture, since we belong to a civilization that has forgotten its innate, ancient knowledge and now must figure out everything that we once knew by default. However, this primal knowledge of how to survive on earth would not be helpful living in modern society anyway, but what we have lost, that is essential in any circumstance, is our connection to Earth and consequently, the Universe.
For thousands of years people have lived on this continent, North America, and not only survived, but prospered. All of their needs were met and they had the joy and magic, important aspects of human life on Earth. When Edward S Curtis, went to Alaska to photograph the Native Eskimos, at the end of the 19th century, he wrote that the people he met there were the happiest he had ever seen because they had not been exposed to Western culture. All indigenous people, living in their intended place on Earth knew how to live and what to do each day. They didn’t have to figure it out and had they been required to, I truly doubt any of us would be here today. To figure out survival and every aspect of a culture as advanced as the ancients were, would take too long. In fact we are still trying to figure out what they knew.
So what happened? The answer is we came up with a better system…so we thought. We called it Religion and it was marvelous, so much better than the old ways, so much more civilized and the best part, for those who ran the church was that they could be in power. That much power must give birth to competition, and so it was. Along came Science. Now we were cookin’! Science, proved beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the belief systems, customs and knowledge of the old ways were silly compared to their new ideas. That was generous of them considering Religion declared the old ways to be outright dangerous and invited everyone to participate in their dogma and if they declined the invitation, well, let’s just say that wasn’t such a good idea. So now we had nothing left of the default knowledge we once knew and it led us to where we are today; from the happiest of people to the unhappiest.
Now when we see the remnants of the power spots that were set by the ancients to mark the most sacred of sacred places on earth, all we can do is try to figure out how they figured out what they just knew and what it was that they did know, wondering what it is we don’t know. However, all is not lost because even though we have forgotten all the wisdom of humanity that once impeccably guided us through life, the good news is…
We are now entering a new cycle in the jou
ey of humanity. We already entered the New Age, about thirty years ago, more or less, now we are evolving into the 5th dimension. It is not only humans who are making this quantum leap, but the Earth herself has already moved into her new dimensional place. In this new cycle, this new adventure, new knowing is materializing and this is why so many new ideas are being born, so that we will know what we are meant to know in the new chapter of humanity and this time we will not forget. How we know what we are meant to know, we know not, but we know we know and unless you also know, you cannot know until you do know.
Time is moving so rapidly now that we cannot rely on science and religion to provide answers for us, the age of empowerment is here. We all have our own set of answers within us, just unpack them. Science is slow, with its conservative need to prove everything. We do not need proof that we are Divine, nor could it ever be proven. We do not need the church to tell us what is right or wrong, we already know that and we have our feelings to tell us what is truly right or wrong for each of us. The time has come for a new belief system; the old one has been around for thousands of years, way past the expiration date.
Ancient cultures knew what to do in life and how to live on Earth because they were totally connected to their environment. They ate only fresh food from the Earth and were tuned into nature in every way. Today we live in primarily artificial surroundings, yet we can increase our connection to nature and once again begin to receive the messages which will keep us connected to life the way it was meant to be. Here is how to begin. Eat fresh food, locally grown and organic, if possible. Look at the sky, watch cloud patterns, stars, sunrises and sunsets and swoon at their beauties. Look at nature, trees, animals, listen to the message the birds are sending you with their chatter, see them sitting on the wires, they are transmitting messages inter-dimensionally. Have plants or flowers indoors, understanding they can communicate with you. Have pictures of nature at work and in your home; you can still receive the messages. Look only for beauty in every aspect of your life. If it is not beauty, do not allow it into your consciousness. Start there and after awhile you will know how to proceed.
The time has come for us to be willing to consider the fantastic, wonder about the unbelievable, open our minds and think with our hearts. As we do, we will know what we are meant to know for the new jou
ey that lies ahead of us and we will again be happy and live in paradise right here on our Mother Earth. We are waiting for you there.
