According to the lore, the haunted spirit of Dona still roams the beach during moonlit nights. Locals even talk about seeing the silhouette of a woman wearing a necklace made out of pearls rising from the waves of the sea and floating on the beach. Nobody knows how true the story is. Yet, thousands of tourists visit this Goa beach to see the stone from where Dona fell to her death.
