God is Always With Us

There has been talk of pro sports leagues playing to empty arenas. Lebron James came out and said he wouldn't do it. That the fans have to be there. No one can fathom this idea of playing alone, playing without spectators. The WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) has been putting on their live televised events from the empty Performance Center in Orlando and they asked Stone Cold Steve Austin, what is that like, to perform with nobody in the arena, nobody in the Performance Center. They asked the women's champion, Becky Lynch, what is that like, to perform with no one there. No one likes the idea of being alone. People can't fathom the idea of having to do their normal course of action in a day alone. The fact is, we're not alone. We never have to wonder what it would be like to do our normal things alone, because, God is always with us. He lives in our heart. And, we should thank Him for that. Instead of waiting and wondering and worrying, we should give thanks to Him for His daily presence in our lives and in our hearts so that we are never alone. The Holy Spirit was truly present in my interview with Dr. Sherri Retif for Episode 63 of the "Catholic Sports Radio" podcast. She wasn't aware that the above was going to be my "Ministry Moment" for that episode, yet she said multiple times during our conversation that "God is always with us." Do you think He wants us to get the message?
