“God is Closer Than You Think”

If you had a friend who came to visit would you ignore him? If you had a relative who came to stay for a few days would you shut him in his room and not talk to him? So why do we not talk to God, the Universe, and Great Spirit?

Every spiritual text says the same thing “I am closer to you than you are to yourself” and that means that God, the Universe, and Great Spirit are always with us so why do we not talk to Him? Personally I walk around talking to God all the time, for I know Great Spirit has all the answers. If we have this all pervading, all knowing, ever present energy of Great Spirit living in our heart which has all the answers to everything—why do we not ask questions of the one essence which has all the answers?

We go looking for answers on-line on the internet for all kinds of things. We go to school for 20 years to become a doctor, lawyer, teacher, and other professions in order to find out answers to questions. We watch the news to find out answers, we read books to find out answers, but the most important questions of go unanswered. Questions like “why am I here, what is my purpose; what should I fill my mind with; how do I find inner peace; where can I find bliss” and many more questions.

We fill our minds with intellectual ideas, we learn philosophy, and scour the world looking for answers to all the questions we have. We travel to find answers, we delve into atoms to find answers, we dive deep to the bottom of the ocean and blast off into space to find answers. Yet all the most important questions hardly ever come to mind.

It’s interesting that what science is finding out now has been answered by all the spiritual people who have come before in the past. In the spiritual text of the world they talk about all the planets in our solar system long before telescopes and spacecraft. And they also had the names of the planets already picked out and they are the same names we use today. Also in all the spiritual texts they talk about human cells, and the smallest parts of the atom long before we had electron microscopes and particle collider’s. And how did they know all of this? They went inside to connected with their heart— where God, the Universe, and Great Spirit reside.

Even the great psychic Edgar Cayce and many others knew that all the answers to healing everyone was in that all knowing field of understanding. In fact there is nothing that doesn’t reside in that Great Etheric Field. And thus THAT which knows all has all the answers we seek.

As it says in the spiritual texts—

“Ask and You Shall Receive”.

So strike up a conversation with God, the Universe, and Great Spirit.
