Think about the women in your life. Friends. Mother. Daughter. Sister. Work colleagues. The woman at the checkout, the bus stop. Even behind the counter at your local cafe for your very much needed morning coffee. Do some of these women you know seem to be radiantly glowing? Why do some of these women, but not others still look fabulous after kids, after a long day and after their 40’s well into their 50’s and 60’s? We are all Goddesses, but these women are living in their goddess energy. The dictionary term of goddess is “a woman of extraordinary charm, beauty & grace”. A goddess is a woman that knows how to tap into their inner feminine energy and sees their femininity as a strength not a weakness or vulnerability. She remains vibrant, confident, sexy and beautiful for years and years. These women are seemingly worshiped by the men in their lives and perhaps envied by women. These women are living their inner truth. All these are giving attributes that require energy. It is so important then with all this giving to recharge like we do with our mobile phone at the end of the day to keep our energy up for what the next day brings. Coffee only goes so far! I was blessed enough to be recently invited to be a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show. This show encompassed the greatest lessons Oprah has learnt from her guests for the past 25 years. She shared with us her insights about energy and what you give out is what you get back. The point to her story is that we are all the same, we all have a platform to reach and share with people, wherever you are in your life that is your platform – your blessings in life, your manifesting is directly connected with what energy you are putting out in the world. No matter what type of spirituality or higher power you believe in, understand that the energy you put out in every aspect of your life – that is what is coming back to you. The different is as your sphere of influence grows, the energy you get back and the response is greater and greater. This energy, the formula for your growth & power in life is to first be true to your self and to share and connect this truth with others. That is the energy exchange. That is the power of manifesting your dreams and wishes. By living in our goddess energy we get to have this beautiful way of being circulating through our lives, to live our destinies and to get through our multi faceted days with plentiful energy. Women that seem to be closed off from this energy inevitably let themselves go. Their body, mind, beauty, relationships and purpose seem to lose their radiance. They lose themselves. Over time of not tapping into this natural feminine resource we can easily fade away from our power, our strength and our dreams. The key to accessing this energy is a two part process. Part one - learn what we really need to feel energised, feminine and renewed and part two, to act on this. I’m not talking about performing hour long rituals like our ancient counterparts did. I am talking about simple, fun and sometimes quick ways to reconnect just for us in a way that can keep this energy radiating all day long. Here are a few ways to get started: • Our goddess selves thrive in a world of sensation, feeling our body and emotions and their connection to others & the world around us. Desires are ways to fill up our senses. Sometimes we desire something and get it, but wonder why we feel so unfulfilled? Mother Nature fills up our senses effortlessly. Spend some time connecting in the “real world” and notice how alive and connected you feel. • We as women seem to hang onto everything. Every last word in fact. We stay too long in an emotion or get “caught up” in whatever is going on. We hear the mood and emotive tone of what is said and over analyze it. These are our inner challenges of being feminine. Practice letting things go. Don’t go looking for trouble, look for love. • Be kind to others each day. Stop gossiping, judging or putting down others—this will not bring out your best. • Minimize stress and De clutter your mind. Stress is the number one barrier to bring out your inner best. Find ways to relax and unwind at the end of the day, even if it’s just sitting still for a few minutesrn rnAnd most importantly how do you start every day? In a rush? Not wanting to get out of bed? Make a conscious choice of how will you face your day. Why not start it by thinking about being your magnificent and full self! Face the rising Sun, open your arms, breathe the light, and remember, life is a celebration.
