Depending on whom you ask the question, what it is like to live in Scottsdale homes or Phoenix homes, the answers can vary widely. Some people may think that because of the heat, you have to spend most days holed up in the house with the air conditioning on full blast, while some others may have a romantic notion that is all about the great outdoors and wrangling cattle, perhaps seeing too many Western movies.

The reality of life for those who own Scottsdale real estate is that it can be as much an adventure as they want it to be. Sure, there are those people content to just stay indoors, venturing out only when it cools a bit or to head to the pool, but the vast majority of people in Arizona enjoy the great outdoors with hiking and other adventures.

Whether you live in Scottsdale or Phoenix, or are just in town for a visit, one fun way to enjoy the land in its natural state is with one of the many different outdoor tours offered by local companies. One company Arizona Desert Events offers a wide variety of tours to please just about anyone, but they all have one thing in common - enjoying the lushest desert in the world and experience the land just like it was back in the wild west days.

One of the really fun tours that they have are cowboy cookouts. It is a lot of fun to sit around a campfire the way the cowboys used to, cooking over an open flame and hearing stores of adventures past, including a few tall tales to keep you wondering into the night.

Other fun outings include Jeep tours. There are few different Jeep tours, including one that involves beer tasting, one that focuses on nature, and another that involves getting out the Jeep to do a bit of horseback riding. There really are tours for just about every interest.

Tours can be perfect for team building as well as corporate events and outings. Nothing brings coworkers together like having to solve problems in the Arizona desert and the tour will really do that in an efficient, yet entertaining manner.

These types of tours are also great for photographers, as around every turn is something beautiful to photograph, whether it be a sunset or an interesting looking cactus. It can be boring to take pictures of the same old city life day after day and many photographers will find this to be a refreshing change. It will be great to look back at the photographs and remember the great experience that you had on your Arizona tour.

Tour lengths vary depending on the type of outing and they start at different times throughout the day. There are tours in the morning or afte
oon, or even the popular sunset tour. For more information on any of the tours offered by Arizona Desert Events, visit their website. They will even pick you up from your resort if you are visiting town, which is great for those people who do not rent a car or are unfamiliar with driving in that area.
