16th May is the day when Google has introduced knowledge graph to improve the search results. Now what is the term "knowledge graph". Google knowledge graph is basically guide you to the right search. When you type for something in Google and many other results will come with it and you have to find out the right results. When you type for a very common keyword like "Monlisa". Monalisa could be anything that you are looking for and some odd results may come across to you with it. Now Monalisa could be a picture, restaurant, any topic or any other personality. Google is now trying to sup up all the results on the first page so that people can identify what they want. Other example which Google has given of "Taj Mahal". When some one look for Taj Mahal in Google, it could be a monument, a restaurant or a musician who is famous for his work. There you can exactly find what you really want to see when you type "Taj Mahal". Google has enables its users to find the right information on the first page and can make a narrow results in one Go.
One other quality of it is when you search for something very well known like "David Beckham", you will get some information about him on the right hand side along with all other results which contain some brief information about him like his date of birth, about his family, about his achievement and some more stuff which would be an absolute advantage for the people who want to know about him. Thus Google has made search results more accurate and time saving. This Google knowledge graph has made search more deeper.
Google will let you know more about something you are looking for. For an example when you search for "Brian Lara", it provides you information on Brian Lara and along with that it also provide you some more related searches like Chris gayle, Sachin Tendulakar or any other famous cricket personality which allows you to know more other people of the same field.
