Growing demand and supply of the Pharmaceutical market

Pharmaceutical market is one of the fastest growing markets in the present world. New drugs are being invented and dressed up to be floated in the market, so that a better cure and relief to the patients may be provided.

The market is run through various pharmaceutical units such as the units in which untouched, virgin and original drugs are either processed or manufactured, the units in which these virgin drugs are applied in order to bring forth a useful chemical balance and the same is to be distributed in the market for the public at large.

As stated, there are units which operate in producing, manufacturing or obtaining original drugs. In these units, based on the market equilibrium along with the demand most demanded drugs are made in a large quantity, or to put in simple words, units managers allots some particular drugs to its manufacturing divisions which are entrusted to manufacture that drug only on a huge scale. This mechanism is called “Bulk Chemical”. It is to be noted that Bulk Chemical is prevalent in most consumed drugs like paracetamol, bruffen, diclofenac, ART and the drugs for Cancer patients.

There are companies called chemical companies which are founded with an objective to manufacture process and distribute chemicals to be used for different purposes medical to be more specific. These companies have their strong market roots thorough which it is observed from time to time as to which drug is in the demand and accordingly its manufacturing and supply is decided in the market. At present, the market is equally divided among the big and small players with respect to various drugs and their respective implications.

Apart from the companies which deal on the upfront chemical market, there are companies which are in practice of supplying the virgin or untouched and fresh chemicals to these companies. These companies are known as Sourcing Companies. The basic task and function of these companies is to provide source backup to major market players.

Chemicals are used for different purposes being unrestricted to medical purposes like in house cleaning, paste- control, film processing etc. Therefore some chemicals are to be applied in their original form without any specific and glorified processing such as acids. The chemical companies have their units in this division too.

These chemicals are either sourced to the distributors directly or to the users without any external interference, the same is called chemical sourcing. But it is not restricted to such sourcing only, rather when a sourcing company sources its chemicals to another unit for further purposes; it also amounts to chemical Sourcing. Basically it can be said that bulk chemicals, sourcing companies and chemical sourcing are the predecessors of the chemical companies, with respect to the material used and dealt with in their units.
