Spirituality
Spiritual tourism has become the most salient feature of Gujarat tours. The region is home to some of the most important pilgrimage and revered shrines in India. Dwarka, one of the famous Char Dhams of India is a revered place for Hindu pilgrims owing to its relation with Lord Krishna. Besides Dwarka, there is Somnath temple which is famed as one of the twelve jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. Another major pilgrim site is Ambaji which is visited by around 15 lakh devotees during the Bhadarva Purnima Festival.
