Dedicated to the nation by the Gyan Bharati Trust, Delhi, Gyan Bharati School, Saket came into being in September 1980 under the guidance of Director Mr. M. N. Kapur, a noted Educationist, and ‘Padamshri’ recipient . The aim of Gyan Bharati School is to impart integrated and comprehensive education which is formative and not merely informative. The school correctly holds the basic function of education as life building and character forming. The school believes that every child is blessed with some unique qualities and it is the duty of teachers to groom those qualities.

As it is said that the life of a building and a child depends on the foundation, so to develop a strong foundation of the children, Gyan Bharati School offers education from the nursery onwards. It’s a co-educational English medium school, offering classes from nursery till the senior secondary level. The school follows different curriculums for different classes. It is so developed to suit the needs of children learning in different classes. The teachers use the play way method in the nursery level to impart education among the children.

The children are provided with different interactive play items so that their creativity develops properly. In the senior secondary level, Gyan Bharati School provides special classes that help the children to prepare themselves for the competitive exams and for further studies. In class 11 and 12, the students are offered a variety of subjects in three streams- Science, Arts and Commerce. To cope up with the rapidly changing world, the school offers modern infrastructural facilities like a wide campus sprawled across a lush green area, spacious classrooms, modernized labs, library with rich book bank, separate play zone for kids, spacious play ground, activity room, art & craft studio, music and dance room, computer lab and transportation.

Parents play a vital role in the life of children. The school also realizes the need of good parenting and thus organizes seminars and meets for the parents from time to time. These sorts of activities help the parents to monitor their child’s development more closely. Moreover, the teachers are also provided regular sessions on modern teaching techniques so that they can offer the best of teaching to the children. Apart from that, the children enjoy sports weeks and cultural meets organized by the school from time to time.
