Weight loss may seem like a big goal to you, especially when you have never done it before. However, you must understand the fact that fat loss occurs not due to one or two big actions, but small habits you inculcate everyday.
First of all, you should start hating and using your car less often. This certainly sounds like a weird advice for weight loss. Why should you hate cars? I do not mean to start walking to work every day. However, we should decrease our dependence on cars.Why not take simple steps such as parking your car at a further distance away from office instead of directly in front of it? Taking a few more steps to the office from where your car is parked several times a day can make a huge difference over a few months.
Also, you should reduce your use of elevators. Try taking the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. It may seem unreasonable to do that if you are heading for the 18th floor, but why not take the stairs for the first nine, then elevator for the next nine? These are exceedingly simple tips, but they make a big difference to your overall physique. Of course, climbing nine floors is not the simplest of tasks, but with discipline, you will be able to do it, and lose weight effectively as well!
You should never go on a crash diet. Never deprive your body of the things you need to survive. Most crash diets asks you to give up on essentials. This will cause you to lose overall weight, but two important factors will work against you. You can end up losing muscle instead of fat, and you will gain back the lost weight at an equal pace once you stop your crash diet.
When you start your weight loss journey, take a moment to reflect and put things in perspective. How important is losing weight to you? First, make a list of the reasons which motivates you to lose weight. If the intention is clear, you will be more realistic. How can the weight you have accumulated over the years be undone in a few short days? Remember this: fat is the only thing in the world which is easier to build than to destroy! For many of us, it is so inconspicuous that we do it without realizing it, and before long, you will be obese and it will be too late!
