“It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.” ~ Charles Spurgeon

Motivational tips are everywhere, thanks to the internet. I cannot imagine how you could possibly remain glum with all the motivation out there. Any day on Facebook brings dozens of motivational ideas to your Timeline with inspiring memes and practical quotations.

If all you did with them was be inspired for that moment only, you could be inspired a large percentage of your day. If you’d like to print them out to keep yourself inspired, just look up the key idea in Google and add the word “graphic” to the search. Dozens of illustrated ideas will be available for you.

We have compiled a list for you of some of the best ideas from around the web. Most likely, you do many of these things already. But do you do them every day? It’s wise to add more of them to your daily habits, because the more good you do, the more good you generate in your life, and the more good things and experiences you will enjoy throughout your life.

If you turn this list of 30 simple ideas into habits, you will aggrandize your life, lift your spirits, encourage more good you’re your life, improve your relationships and many more. Imagine how your life would look if you did all of them, every day!

Many of these simple habits come from earlier times when life was simpler and these bottom-line ideas were in vogue. Some societies have kept these as their boundaries – their standards. Sadly, some have not. That doesn’t say that it’s too late to re-introduce them and make our world a better place one smile at a time. These are habits that you can add silently to your routine without drawing attention to yourself. Your closest friends might begin to ask you things like “What’s different about you?”

Consider using these 30 simple habits to generate your own sunshine:

Smile.
Make happiness your default attitude.
Prioritize connections with the people you care about.
Give.
Express love with words, affection, and actions.
Seek out pleasure; find out what you love doing by trying new things.
Accept forgiveness, and refuse to hold grudges.
Take care of your body; move it and nourish it.
Do what scares you.
Adopt a positive attitude.
Be nice to everyone – including yourself.
Remember to take breaks to relax and have fun.
Trust in the good in others and yourself.
Know that you are inherently worthy of love and success.
Set your own pace and your own goals.
Stimulate your brain every day.
Never stop learning.
Find passions, and get excited about them.
Be thankful.
Laugh, dance, sing, and express yourself!
It’s ok to be goofy. Make someone laugh – even if that person is you.
Take a trip; explore the world.
Volunteer.
Get outdoors.
Know thyself; love thyself; embrace thyself.
Remind yourself that voiding “what ifs” is less satisfying than taking risks.
“Sorry”, “thank you”, “I love you”, and, “It’s ok” are powerful words.
Share your talents.
See the opportunity for growth in every challenge.
Leave things better than you find them.

Didn’t it make you feel good just reading them? Imagine how you’d feel if you were actually doing them. As a suggestion, pick the one you like best and add it to your daily routine. It’s time for you to put them into practice.
