The alert raised by the flu has become fashionable for using products for cleaning and disinfecting hands, even water. It is necessary wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water but disinfectants are only useful if the alcohol content is high nearly above 60%. Hence washing hands with water thoroughly is best way of prevention.

* Antibacterial soaps. Effective to kill bacteria (not necessarily kill the virus), but their use is essential, and resort to them may eventually enhance bacterial resistance.
