“A Short Story About Our Hands Going on Strike”

Once the hands of man were insulted and upset because the nose was enjoying all the wonderful smells of the food that the hands procured… thus they became envious and went on strike.

They thought that the nose was enjoying all the good stuff in life, and they themselves never enjoy the wonderful smells of all the great food that the hands worked so hard for. So in anger they decided they would no longer do any kind of work that would bring food to the nose. Thus the nose would never have all the great aromas it loved.

But there was one thing they forgot, if the nose didn’t smell the food, then the mouth could not eat and create energy for the whole body. So after a while the body became weak including the hands. The hands had forgotten the nose only smells the food to entice the mouth to take in the food and create energy for the body to survive.

So after doing some deep contemplation the hands decided to give up on their strike and work together with the nose in harmony. Thus there was oneness and everyone worked together in for the good of whole.

This is no different than what we have going on today, we have lots of people who are full of envy, greed, and anger, and they take their anger out on everyone. Yet they forget there is a reason for everything and that everyone is part of the GREAT ONE which is the collective consciousness of the great powerful spirit. Thus when we hurt one another we also hurt ourselves… just like the hands.

Many Blessings to Everyone!
