Once, on the morning of my final year engineering exam, all of my class mates were discussing the subject. Out of nothing I just declared my gut feeling and said-" I have a feeling that the question paper would be out of course and it will not be as easy as we are expecting it to be". Everyone was quiet for a while and there were various slang responses. Soon we were settled and the paper was distributed, after a brisk minute half the examination hall was looking back at me and most of them were giving a look as it was something I have done. Even I was surprised at the event but the paper was actually not what anyone of us was expecting.

This has been a common happening in my life where my intuition just makes me aware of a situation in advance. Not many would believe that our sub conscious mind has the power to actually influence things around us. Many of us ridicule such happenings as coincidences even if certain things happen to themselves. All of us have an intuition of some kind and most of us just ignore it rather than utilizing this power to their advantage. I feel stupid even stating this but yes, I can control certain happenings and have successfully done it in the past. I can not prove it or expect anyone to believe me in this matter but I am having such weird experiences since a long time.

We are always connected to that power greater than our physical selves and that connection is our intuition.
So here are five key points for you to consider that will hopefully help you get a better handle on the most powerful sense that you have.

Your intuition is your direct and absolute link to communication with Spirit. n

Your intuitive senses lay over your physical senses. We get energetic or intuitive feelings through energetic sight (like deja vu), energetic hearing (you hear a small voice that gives you a warning or feels like a hunch to follow), energetic feeling (a gut feeling in your stomach that feels like butterflies or goose bumps) and energetic knowing (feeling nlike you just know how to do something or how a situation will turn out without learning or cause). n

Everyone is born with intuition and has the ability to develop it to be strong and reliable. n

Intuition is always the most efficient and accurate advice that you can get about any issue, conce
or desire. n

Our society encourages us to ignore our intuition and focus strictly on logic. We disengage from our energetic senses and end up feeling very confused, anxious and taking a very long slow road to happiness. Your intuition is always working whether you focus on it or not! When you harness the power of your intuition you are able to fully access your personal power. Not using your intuition is like having eyes and ears and ignoring or fighting their functions. Your eyes and ears are on your head and whether you are concentrating on using them or not they are always working.

Intuition is real and you have experienced it,

The best example I can give of intuition is the feeling of first love. Ever had a feeling for someone that makes you feel you are connected?

Ever felt infatuated by someone at first sight and thought like he/she may be the perfect partner for you?

If you have, then it's easy for you to understand that this is intuition that tells you how you match to a person. If you happen to meet and befriend that person you will be surprised to see how much your wavelengths match and how much you both compliment each other. It is not necessary that you have a relationship with him/her to understand that connection, but certainly you will feel unusually peaceful.

When we use our intuition it may seem illogical but our decision feels right. It feels like a sense of knowing or certainty that you may not be able to describe. And your actions feel inspired. You feel led as opposed to running after an outcome. You feel guided to take inspired action and your hunch feels like a knowing instead of a reckless risk. It feels like you have a control over the happenings around you.

People often are too scared to live on their own terms, intuition guides you well if you are really willing to listen to it. I do not know how, but to me the answers are much difficult when I have options in hand and use my knowledge and brains to choose. People often advise you to go with the flow of life, and believe me this would work out very fine, if you could just do the balancing act. It is exactly analogous to be flowing with a river in a raft. You have a spool with which you can balance the direction but if you try to control the motion, you would have a very rough ride. The flow of life is same as the flow of a river just extrapolate the concept and you will find many similarities.

How to listen to your Gut,

You have many feelings that clutter your mind. You have to be able to distinguish between fear, anxiety and intuition. Fear, anxiety, trust, belief these are the experiences that shadow intuition and may make your decisions go wrong. You have to disregard them first to listen to your inner self. Intuition works better with a clear and peaceful mind. It is very short lived feeling that may disappear in a split second. When you need answers from your intuition, you need to get rid of all other answers that are constantly popping in your head.

Just relax and evaluate the situation. This is what your gut is "from nowhere", and the nowhere generates in a calm and composed mind. You will need a lot of your memory space as the intuition program is very heavy for your RAM (pun intended).

Be calm and then evaluate your fears. Overcome your fears by explaining your mind that these fears are not going to be true. Now disregard the notions that arise in a scared mind.

List down of what ever is going on in a mind. Pen them down. This clears your mind of the dilemmas and confusions. you will have a better picture and a better understanding.

Think about the whole thing as if you are not involved in it. Give it a casual approach. Just think of what the situation is with a third mans perspective. Don't think of ifs and buts, just calm down and think about the matter peacefully without indulging into irrelevant thoughts of consequences or constraints.

Catch the split second thoughts that arise. By now your mind will be giving you hints. Pick the most appropriate ones. You will be surprised that your mind will be calm about thinking even the worst of the situations. If it is going towards the negative side and showing you alte
atives or a brighter picture of it, then you got your answer. On the other side if your mind keeps rejecting those ideas in a righteous sense or it just keeps assuring you with the positive thoughts, you got the answer.

It is a brisk feeling (not thought) that arises in your mind every now and then you just have to catch it when it pops up. Make a tendency to pick up intuition in daily routine. eep your mind relieved and just flow with the flow, you will be able to listen to your inner voice often, it is up to you on how to use it to your benefit.

It’s time to empower yourself by harnessing your own intuition! When you take the time to learn about, understand and tap into your intuition, you will find that your decisions and actions are so much easier to make!
You will live so much more powerfully and efficiently. Your tasks will be done in a fraction of the time because you will be working from certainty instead of fear! You may consider the opinions of others for a perspective but you will know that your intuition has the final say!
