Most job seekers don’t think of finding a new job to have anything to do with fun. I think it is most often thought of as a stressful event.

Then, how to make the job search fun? If you know yourself well, that should be fun to be self confident. (Cockiness is not the same as self confidence)

And, onward to what repels or attracts you? Finding more about jobs that attract you, can be fun.

It can help, too, about thinking of the job search as a treasure hunt, not the dreary proposition of cover letters, resumes, poor interviews, etc. The treasure will be a good job you find with an employer you trust, admire and can have fun with!

Do your best to forget some of the tediousness of the job search. Impress the employers you meet with your positive attitude. Fun can show in your facial expression, how you dress, the sparkle in your eyes and the self-confident manner you use when you deal with lots of different people in your job hunt. nnn
