Eden Hazard and Philippe Coutinho two players tipped by the critics to be the next big thing in world football. These two players over the past two seasons have been exceptional for the particular clubs and have shown immense potential both in skill character to be the best in world football. Over the years Premier League has produced one of the finest players to ever grace a football pitch. Compared to any other football leagues in the world, Premier League stands out to be one of the toughest, physical and most competitive leagues in the world. What better platform can these two players ask for to rise to football glory than the English Premier League. Ever since Liverpool FC signed Philippe Coutinho from Inter Milan the Brazilian has netted 35 goals and 32 assists in 140 appearances in the Premier League for the Merseyside club. Eden Hazard, on the other hand, has netted over 50 goals and made 42 for Chelsea FC in 177 appearances. Hazard may have more goals and assists in comparison to Coutinho but the potential and skill of both players are world class. Coming to 2017/2018 Premier League season, Both players have made a late start to their campaign as Eden Hazard was out recovering from an injury while Philippe Coutinho was busy embroiled in a push to FC Barcelona in the summer. This is a season where superstar footballers and superstar managers are in the abundance, can these two players emerge as the standout players in the league? Hazard ages 26 and Coutinho aged 25 will have to lose the tag of “Young players” and transition into “superstars” to match or exceed the expectations their fans and world football has for them. As of this new 2017/2018 Premier League season, Philippe Coutinho can’t have any excuses not to net those long rage “Magical” Goals or Eden Hazard skip past an entire team’s backline to score those beautiful individual goals. The battle lines have been drawn and the time has come to see who will rise to the glory of world football.
