Skateboarding is an entertaining sport that people of all age groups love to watch and play. However, if you are not wearing proper skateboarding attire, your day of fun can be transformed into a painful day. Not wearing knee pads and hurting your knees during a fall is an example of this. It is very important to wear proper skateboarding gear every time you play the game. The best way to decide what to wear is to work from the head down. From helmets to shoes, you should decide what all safety gears you should wear.

Knees If you are a new skater, then there are high chances that you may fall on your knees. It definitely hurts a lot and may also keep you from skating for a while. Therefore, if you want to continue skateboarding without hurting yourself, consider buying a pair of high quality skateboard knee pads. However, if you do not have a pair of knee pads, consider wearing jeans for good protection.

Foot The last item on the list is your foot and ankles. You have ankle braces that you can wear to protect your ankle but it increases the chances of upper leg injury. If you had ankle problems in the past, you should wear ankle braces.

Lastly, it is also very important to wear proper skateboarding shoes. It is not a good idea to go skateboarding in running shoes or leather shoes. For better safety try investing in a pair of high quality skateboarding shoes.
