Height can be something that someone has to be proud of. It can be also an advantageous physical attribute to a person. So if you think you lack this, it is time to know how you can still grow taller at any age and even speed it up while you are still an adolescent. Many of us are already convinced that bones of the spine are already hard that there are no chances of growing at later age. But this old theory is already a myth since new discoveries prove that through exercises and proper nutrition, invertebral discs in the spine will still expand and add more inches to a person’s height. Let’s get this straight now. Exercises performed regularly can boost your potentials in growing tall. There are certain work-out routines that can target your bones and make it elastic and even stronger. Here are some of the useful exercises that you can start with which improves length: 1) Relax yourself and focus on growing while doing the exercise. Take a deep breath through your nose and then slowly extend your arms into your shoulder. Hold in the position for a while and then take your arms reaching as far as possible. 2) Now, stand straight. Extend your arms in right angle. Raise your hands slowly and then to shoulder level. Now, with feet flat on the floor, start lifting your heels as high as you can but maintaining your balance. Slowly exhale while you go back to original position. Now you might wonder on how do you get taller by doing those exercises. The answer is that the stretching and the breathing that you do can do a lot in making your bones healthy so that the spine’s discs and cartilages would expand and decompress. This will make you taller effectively. Exercise should not be alone in this process. Of course, you need to live a healthy lifestyle in order for it to take effect. Increasing your height naturally should also mean eating the right foods with the right nutrients and also having enough sleep for body repairs. These are actually the most helpful ways in adding more to your height. These are the safest and the most natural methods which can also give you a healthy body and spirit. So if you feel short and even unhealthy, you have to start exercising regularly from now on. With this habit, you also have to remember to have enough sleep and eat the right kinds of food. Enough sleep which usually last for 6 to 8 hours every night will give our bodies the chance to repair it and create new cells. Aside from that, our spines have the opportunity to freely absorb the nutrients that will make its components real strong. Now, this is where sleep can help in making you grow faster. Our spine while we are asleep continues to grow because it decompresses and relaxes because it is not being pulled by the gravity vertically. Eating the right diet such as grow foods can aid in your efforts to grow tall. Proteins can make the muscles strong while calcium can make the bones healthy. Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients that can help in body processes. Avoid intake of harmful substances such as drugs and alcohol. Avoid smoking and start a healthy lifestyle.
