Low fat heart healthy nutrition for Stir Fried chicken delicious recipe without saturated fats and over 100 sugar free low fat recipes. The term eating heart healthy has been around for some time now and while many people have begun eating healthier and exercising more, there are still a few people who struggle with the term heart healthy nutrition.
There really is nothing difficult or hard to understand about eating in a way that is better for your heart. And all eating nutritiously for your heart really means is eating a wide range of foods that have nutritional benefit, while limiting the amounts of sodium, saturated fats, and sugar you consume.
The reason these three ingredients are not considered as part of a diet that is healthy for your heart is because sodium can lead to water retention and high blood pressure which can lead to heart attack and disease.
Saturated fats can block the flow of blood through your arteries and lead to coronary heart disease, and consuming too much sugar can lead to diabetes which in turn can lead to heart disease. So by eliminating these three food products from your diet and eating lots of lean meats, fruits, and vegetables you are helping to protect your heart and your overall health.
Most people view giving up saturated fats, sodium, and sugar as having to give up tasty foods in favor of food that tastes bland and lacks excitement. This doesn't have to be the case as experimenting with various seasonings, new ways of cooking, and new foods can add both taste and variety to your diet without resulting in bland food choices.
Here is a simple recipe for a tasty and slightly spicy stir fried chicken and vegetables that is low in sodium, sugar and saturated fat.

Heart Healthy Stir Fried Chicken And Vegetables
Directions:
Place olive oil in a wok or frying pan and heat oil. Add garlic and ginger paste and pickling spice cover with a lid and heat on medium heat until the pickling spice begins to pop and the seeds in the spice open.
If using frozen vegetables add chicken and cook until mostly done and beginning to turn tender. If using fresh vegetables then cook onions and carrot first and then add chicken. When the chicken is almost done add the vegetables and cook until vegetables are done, but still slightly crunchy. Eat as is or serve over brown rice.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.
When the seeds in the pickling spice open they give off a slightly peppery flavor that when combined with the garlic and ginger adds a lot of taste to this simple dish. While olive oil does contain fat, it is fat that is actually good for your heart, and the variety of vegetables are loaded with nutrition. This is a quick and simple meal to fix and has all the taste one could ask for in a meal.
