The other name for high blood pressure is hypertension. High blood pressure is the main problem which people are suffering from now a days. Heart plays a very important role in our body, it pumps blood around the body through the blood vessels. By pumping blood, amount of force exerted on the artery can be termed as high blood pressure. When the blood pumps with more force than normal through the arteries is known as high blood pressure. The stress on the arteries can increases the silting of arteries with fatty plaques known as atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis leads to many diseases like heart disease, heart attack and stroke and other many risk factor includes smoking and high blood cholesterol. High blood pressure or hypertension is a common disorder of the circulatory system. Out of seven it affect atleast one person of the world. Blood pressure can be defined as the pressure of blood on the walls of the arteries as it circulates through the body. Arteries plays a very important role in the body as it carry blood from the heart to rest of the body. Pressure on the artery walls occurs as the blood moves through the arteries. It create pressure on the blood known as blood pressure. When blood moves through arteries at a higher pressure than the normal rate is known as high blood pressure. SymptomsrnHigh blood pressure has no specific symptoms but some common symptoms that may occur includes confusion, ear noise or buzzing, fatigue, headache, irregular heartbeat, nosebleed and vision changes. All these above mentioned may be sign of complication or malignant hypertension that is also called as dangerously high blood pressure. Before taking this medicine you should know full information about the medicine in order to avoid any serious side effect. You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to it or to its ingredient. Patient taking this medicine should take lot of water to keep themselves hydrated. Pregnant and breast feeding mother should avoid taking Altace medicine without consulting doctor as use of this medicine in pregnant and breast feeding mother may harm the health of unborn baby or nursed child. The initial dosage recommended for Altace is 2.5 mg to 10 mg in a day. The dosage of Altace medicine should not exceed 20 mg in a day.
