Holding the stalk at both ends, bend gently until it breaks on its own. Discard the hard portion of the stalk. rn2. Cut the remaining asparagus spears diagonally into 2 inch pieces.rn3. Bring oil to medium heat in a large frying pan that can hold all the asparagus. rn4. Add cumin seeds and wait till they crack. Then add asparagus, ginger, lemon juice, salt and black pepper.rn5. Stir-fry for about 4 to 5 minutes until asparagus are tender but still crunchy.rn6. Serve hot or at room temperature.rn7. Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese on cooking asparagus, just prior to serving. If the asparagus is warm enough, the cheese will melt and be delicious. Stir fry cabbage salad Ingredients: • 2 cups cabbage cut into thin slicesrn• 1/2 cup carrots cut into thin slicesrn• 1/2 cup red and green bell pepper cut into thin slicesrn• 1/4 cup green beans cut in approx. 11/2 inch and halvesrn• 2 teaspoons oilrn• 1/2 teaspoon mustard seedsrn• 2 whole red peppersrn• Few leaves of curry leavesrn• 1/4 teaspoon salt adjust to tastern• Pinch of sugarrn• 1/4 teaspoon lemon juicern• 2 tablespoons shredded coconut Method 1. Heat the oil in frying pan over medium high heat.rn2. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and red pepper as seeds crackle. Tip: as you add curry leaves it will splatter, be careful. rn3. Add cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, and beans stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, the vegetables should be crisp don’t overcook.rn4. Turn off the heat, add salt, lemon juice and coconut, and mix it well.rn5.
