Heavy Snowfall in the Hills, Orange and Yellow Alert in Many Districts Today

Snowfall has started again in Outer Siraj of tribal districts Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, and Kullu. Snow has fallen from one to two and a half feet in domestic areas. The Rohtang Pass, 13,050 feet high, has received snowfall of 90 cm, Koksar with 60 and Keylong 30 cm. Heavy snowfall has increased the risk of snowfall. Half a dozen routes of Pangi, the tribal areas including Saluni-Langara, Khajjiar, Lakkad Mandi of Chamba, are stalled for movement of vehicles.
