Most of the people who say, "help, I want to lose weight", are people who have a bad body image. Yes, it is a different matter that most people who want to lose weight actually need to, but there are other people who, even after losing weight are convinced that they’re "fat"! This is fatal, and if you are one of these people, you could be suffering from a less severe version of anorexia. If you look in the mirror and say to yourself, "help, I want to lose weight" and when you walk down the road, people look at you and say "I wish I had a body like her", you know you’re in trouble. Tip One: Look at Your good points Instead of looking in the mirror and saying to yourself, "help, I want to lose weight, my thighs are humongous, I have love handles, I have a huge belly etc", you should appreciate your good features. Say to yourself "I have a beautiful face, I have great hair, I have delicate feet", etc. It is impossible to look like a model all the time. Keep in mind that they are made to look good with the help of highly sophisticated cameras! Tip Two: Pamper Yourself A great way to enhance your body image is to pamper your body. Treat it with special care, respect it. Instead of saying "help, I need to lose weight", or thinking about all the things about your body that you need to change, think about how you can pamper your body and how you can make yourself feel special. It is amazing how much of pleasure little things like a massage can bring you, if you haven't tried it, then let me tell you, you're missing something special. Tip three: Do Something about Yourself Instead of whining over and over again "help, I need to lose weight", you should look at your body objectively and think of all the little things you need to do to change your flaws. Okay, so you’ve lost weight, but your belly fat’s remained. Nothing to worry about, a few crunches everyday for a month or two will take care of that! The main thing to keep in mind here is to avoid stress and negativity. "Help I want to lose weight", is something people who have all sorts of bodies (sometimes even skinny people!) say to themselves, you have to be a class apart and actually achieve a good body image along with a good body!
