If you are afraid of marriage failure, think that in every relationship there comes a time that problems will come. Don't over react when marriage failure comes because it is normal and there are times that divorce is thought about, yet still not pursued.

  • If you have children and both of you are working, then get a baby sitter.
  • If you decide to date your partner, go ahead and better if it is away from home. Dating in public just as in a restaurant or bar can avoid risk of turning the conversation into an argument. Never try to drink alcohol in excess while on a date except if there are reasons to celebrate.
  • When you need to discuss some conflicts and issues relating to marriage, you need to make sure that you are in your own room or in a private place for some good reasons. First, you need to think that is is unhealthy for your kids to see their father and mother fighting or arguing in front of them. So, don't get me wrong this time. If you let your children witness all your fights, whether big or small, it will never be a good contribution to their minds as they will start to believe that being in marriage is horrible, more so it can also affect your children's emotion. You need to impart to your children that "mom and dad" normally argues but you are still loving each other. You need to keep in mind that even if you argue with things, at the end of the day make sure that you agree of some solutions to the problem.
  • Before you go to this date make a list of all the things you love about your partner and all the things that drive you nuts. It would be good if the good ones are longer than those of the bad. Also try reading a couple of self help relationship counseling books as these can really help you to put things into perspective. I highly recommend reading the Magic of Making Up as it has saved countless marriages and relationships.
  • Be careful in asking your spouse a date; your approach should be kind and sincere. If you start the evening off with "I hate it when" or "look at this list I made of all the reasons you annoy me" you are doomed to failure. You do not want to hit your partner's well being right? You may be angry and you have so many reasons why, but you need to think very wisely what can you get from being angry.

Of course, you not want that in time your relationship will belong among marriage failure. It is possible that marriage can happen if and when both parties have the willingness and determination to do it. You may even plead your partner that what you both have are really meant to be saved. You will both have to work hard and the next few months may well be the most difficult you have yet encountered in the history of your relationship. And when you get through the tough times, you will both realize that your marriage is happier and stronger than it was before. Now, isn't it worth the patience and determination?
