Chocolate has such a decadent taste and feel upon your tongue it can be really hard to resist. Sometimes the fight to desist becomes too much and your taste buds win over your logical thought processes. The sweet blissful chocolate taste remains with you for a little while and then, seemingly in a blink of your eye, it's gone. Then you are left kicking yourself for having given in to your chocolate cravings.

As I am writing this in the early hours of the day I have beside me my mug of coffee and tub of morning cookies. These cookies are seriously special ones, as my friends will attest. I make them myself and they are full of goodies of all descriptions - oatmeal, dried cranberries, chopped nuts and yes, 60% cocoa chocolate chips. There is a generous sprinkling of those delicious chocolate drops in each and every one of these cookies.

My husband and I breakfast on several of these cookies each and every day. We both like to have this sweet taste in the mornings. We need our chocolate fix. We are also similar in that we then no longer think about chocolate for the rest of the day.

Most of our friends find this particular breakfasting habit of our a little quirky to say the least! You will appreciate my surprise when yesterday a friend forwarded to me an article suggesting that one of the best ways in which to help lose weight is to have some chocolate included in your breakfast meal.

This new study from Tel Aviv University found that dieters who included a small amount of chocolate in their otherwise balanced breakfast lost more weight and kept it off for longer (the most relevant bit for most of us) than a control group who followed a more traditional diet. There are several suggestions as to why this would be the case, one being that by allowing yourself something sweet you feel less deprived and your overall diet is thus easier to stick to. It may also be that it is better to have the sweet taste at the beginning of the day when your metabolism is high.

Whatever the reasoning might be the result of this study is very interesting for chocoholics. It may well be easier to allow yourself a little chocolate in the morning with breakfast than it is to cut out chocolate altogether. It is definitely worth experimenting with and seeing if this fits in you’re your unique personality and behavior type. This change of habit may help you to stop eating too much chocolate as opposed to helping you stop eating chocolate altogether.

Another way in which you can help stop eating chocolate is to employ the services of a hypnosis mp3 download. Hypnosis is something that few people think about but it is in fact very effective in triggering and maintaining both thought and behavioral changes. Hypnosis is natural and normal and easy to use. You simply sit back and listen to a hypnosis recording designed to help stop eating chocolate.

As you listen to the hypnosis recording you gain access to your subconscious mind. This is the part of your mind where automatic thought and behavior patterns are stored. Thus with hypnosis it becomes easy to change those patterns and create new and more manageable ones instead. Once again, this is something easy to do that is worth a try for anyone who would like to deal with their out of control chocolate cravings.
