The second leading disease caused death among males in North America is prostate cancer. It is also the most common form of cancer in the male population. It is most commonly diagnosed in men over the age of 65 and increases in incidence with advancing age. Approximately 189,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer every year and of those diagnosed 30,000 will die because of it. The good news is that the incidence of death from it is decreasing as medical science make advances in its diagnosis and treatment. The prostate gland is prone to a number of problems. One of the deadliest is prostate cancer, which is a fatal condition. Another commonly faced problem by men is prostatitis, which is the inflammation of the prostate gland. Prostate gland problems increase as the man advances in age. However, care of the prostate gland must be taken throughout life so as to protect oneself from problems later on in life. One of the most alarming prostate cancers symptoms is hematuria or presence of blood in the urine. Identifying prostate cancer at the onset of this symptom is vital because it increases the survival rate of a cancer patient. Body and musculoskeletal weakness is also among the most common prostate cancer symptoms. Although it may indicate something else, it would be better to consult with a specialist most especially if there is pain and swelling in the legs. Prostate cancer develops most often in men over fifty years. This is the type of cancer most common in men, where he is responsible for more deaths than any other cancer (except lung cancer). However, many men who develop prostate cancer symptoms do not, do not undergo any therapy and die for other reasons. Many factors of genetic origin, toxicological and diet-related seem involved in the development of this cancer. Study shows that uncontrolled diet that is high in saturated and trans fats are the main cause of hormone imbalance that results in prostate enlargement. Researchers suggest that excess calorie consumption could somehow directly stimulate prostate enlargement because the excess body fat that accumulates causes an imbalance of hormone levels. The next major possibly for Pollakiuria will be with the prostate in male cats. Inflammation of the prostrate gland in cats has several potential causes, but the result is almost always Pollakiuria. It can be caused by cystic hyperplasic, which is a cyst, or it can be caused by a bacterial infection. Some of the problems provoked by an enlarged prostate are cumbersome for some men. Problems caused by enlarged prostate gland are weak or interrupted urinary system, difficulty in starting the urine flow, feeling the bladder full all the time, urinating very often, urinating all the day and night, urinating at night being called nocturia, involuntary discharge of urine, during the urination feeling burning or pain, hesitating stream, interrupted stream, leaking, dribbling at the end of the urination, stopping and starting again urinating, blood in the urine, named hematuria, urinary tract infection.
