In celebration of Pride Month, Herman Miller has debuted a replacement edition of its iconic Eames Hang-It-All. The new Pride Hang-It-All includes painted wooden spheres arranged during a rainbow of color representing the range of the LGBTQ+ community. This rainbow orientation includes black and brown colors, first introduced in 2017 to represent the inclusion of LGBTQ+ people of color.

The remake of the Eames Hang-It-All was developed by the Herman Miller LGBTQ+ and WIN (Women) Inclusiveness Resource Teams, voluntary employee-led teams that employment on business initiatives.

"Herman Miller features a longstanding commitment to inclusion and variety ," commented Ben Watson, Chief Creative Officer at Herman Miller. "Our goal is to continue our progress in ending discrimination and celebrating all people. We've come an extended way, but we all know there's still tons of labor to be done."

With the introduction of the Eames Hang-It-All in 1953, Charles and Ray Eames elevated the everyday coat rack into something inventive and fun. Over the years, the fabric and colorways offered have expanded with fidelity to the sophistication-and sense of play-of the first design.

In a 2010 performance that features a David-and-Goliath aspect thereto , Herman Miller Diversity reached 14.5 percent spending with minority-owned businesses. The company recently introduced a 12-week internal online educational series for its employees called, this is often the LENS: Redesigning Our Future through Listening, Empowering Narratives, and Speaking Up. The goal of this series is to supply a chance to open up dialogue about racial injustices, educate each other , ask questions, gain new perspectives, and grow through listening.

The company also recently announced that beginning November 3, 2020, polling day are going to be a paid company holiday for its US-based employees. Outside of the US, today are going to be recognized as a worldwide day of community service. This decision empowers its employees to face up for what they believe and use their voice to make change through voting.
