Himachal, Himalayan state of north India is a land of serene natural beauty. Through the northern outskirts of the state of the snowy peaks of the Himalayas make a great statement about the "region of snow," which is literary translation of Himachal. Another attraction for the people of the world is the Osho meditation center for seekers of the holistic vision of life and self-discovery in the village of Shilla, in the valley. Set in a beautiful backdrop of snowy peaks and pure nature this place is aptly named "heaven" which means Nisarga. For the adventurous, the Kangra Valley offers exciting opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, mountaineering and fishing. And for everyone, this is a place for a perfect holiday among the best of nature. It is perfect Himalayan getaways for summer holidays. Kangra Valley is worth having for those seeking charms of nature and spends some time between the lots of the wonderful people of the mountain Himachali. In the adjacent district of Chamba are some of the most picturesque destinations known for their pristine values.
