Himachal Pradesh often referred to as the ‘Abode of God’, is a land endowed with sheer natural beauty, mystical sites, and adventure sport facilities. This beautiful land of mountain and serenity unfolds various exotic, mesmerizing and majestic tourist destinations where tourist attractions are abundant. The state is generously blessed with natural grandeurs such as snow clad mountain peaks, verdant valleys, versatile rivers, gurgling waterfalls, vineyards, apple orchard and exotic wildlife. Tourists round the year flock this captivating valley to experience the true beauty of nature.

Over the years, Himachal Tourism has boosted up with huge influx of domestic and international tourists; they visit this blissful land in search of cool, serene and tranquil atmosphere in the lap of Himalaya. The celestial land is dotted with several enchanting hill stations such as Shimla, Manali, Kullu, Kufri, Lahaul and Spiti valley, Kasauli, Chail, Kinnaur and Palampur, which are the most favored tourist destinations. Besides natural splendor, Himachal is also mostly favored for its peaceful atmosphere and quaint nature. Endless natural beauty cool climate, serene valley and attractive tourist destination are undoubtedly biggest assets of Himachal Pradesh Tourism.

This Mountain valley is aptly called as ‘Dev Bhooni’, which means Land of Gods. It houses about 2000 temples and religious places firmly known for its exquisiteness and spiritual power. Be it ancient temples or monasteries and Gurudwara, Himachal is highly revered for housing numerous holy shrines and places. Some of the temples of the valley are closely associated with great mythological stories of Hindu. Hadimbda Temple, Jwalamukhi temple, temple of Mata Chintpurni, Shri Naina Devi Ji Temple are few of them.

Himachal Tourism also offers an unearthly journey to land of Buddhism. Dharamshala is one of the mesmerizing destinations of the state which is commonly known as the abode of his holiness Dalai Lama. This enchanting land is also adored for its picturesque landscape, river, streams, colonial buildings and Buddhist monasteries, which will surely leave you spellbound. Dharamshala is a seat of Buddhism and offers immense opportunity to learn and practice Yoga and meditation amidst the serene beauty of nature.

Lahaul and Spiti valley is another revered seat of Tibetan Buddhism in the land of Himachal.
