What is a keyword? Well, this may sound very obvious, as the use of keywords back to the beginning of the web, when developers used to get in as many keywords as possible in a page to get the job. It's not so simple, like Google and other search engines main algorithm (the formula used to determine the relevance of a search query to the results page the better) has become much more complex. But the fact remains that the keywords are still important, so your keyword is the word or short string of words that best match the focus of your page content. Another point is that the key word, if you are in a mainstream, or even growing niche markets, will have competition.
2, How do I know what my customers are looking for? A very simple, whether through Google, search the Instant Search feature, which auto-suggested terms and modify the results page as you type. It's simple, but the results appear in the search box represent what people are really looking for, Google's interpretation of what is "trend" for the search term you used. You will need to ensure that this feature is enabled in the configuration of Google. So if you hammock "search, you will see some variations, these can be valuable to give you ideas for your own keyword training. Now, if you scroll to the bottom of the results page, you will see that Google offers some other suggestions for your search, these are good indications of what is sought around the product / service you are interested in. There other sites such as Wordtracker to have a free trial period that are very useful if you have a single web project. Another couple of ways you will use the keyword tool in AdWords, you'll need a Google account and then just go through the process of creating an AdWords ad and use the keyword tool, this will suggest terms and then you can give an idea of the popularity of the keyword you have chosen. Google Insights is a website that will tell you much about what the world is looking, and can show search trends for a certain period of time and geographic location
3 on the variations of search terms So now we have found a worthy keyword / search term, we want to test variations, this may be covering the geographical variants, ie 'chairs UK, "Northwest chairs etc." or you can try adding a feature, "cheaper chairs", "quality of sunbeds," etc. It is not too hard to get some very good changes, again using the tools above to determine whether it is likely that people is actually using the term in sufficient volume. Another very simple method to do this is to put the hat just for a while and think about what I write, be honest with yourself and ask yourself, what I think the simpler term would then get the list and try that out. Ask friends outside of work related to what would be the search for simplicity of the answers are revealing. You will find that many people are put in a reference geographical / regional search, it makes sense to many services and products they want to stay close to home, so they cover the national and regional. If you are a very small player in a competitive market, you sell software, key words to achieve good ranking alone
4, long vs. short tail terms Search This only refers to the duration of your search term, either short or single word "hammock" or long-tailed variant of "high quality dark wooden chairs," the main reason to have the conditions and that is if you are good attributes and develop dignified, you can get a good ranking with less competition and claim a certain part of the audience as they have coincided with a long common search query in the queue, something to consider again and again, look for the suggestions of self to give Google and other tracks.
5 What to do with your keywords when they have. So now that has a nascent group of keywords, you will want to put somewhere. The thing to note here is to think logically, because this is exactly how a search engine web crawler Think (virtual robot that scans the Web page content and place it in a hierarchy of relevance and authority). Think about what is my page about all this? Now instead of keywords (in moderation) in the right places. So I think the page title, URL string of the page, the H1 tag, body text, Alt image tags not forget to page content goal, so instead of page description with a current primary keyword, add relevant keywords to the list of target keywords. These are the main areas to cover, and place new relevant keywords for each page on that page.
I hope this gives you some tips, I have many websites that are well sorted and keywords are certainly a big part of what I use to do so. Let me know how it goes for you.
