Well here I am, my very first blog. The first thing they tell you is to use a catchy title, mine was simple I’m sure I will break a few start up rules here and many more to come. I was a little naive (and still am) when it comes to blogging, in day`s gone by I thought it was an egotistical pastime of people who liked the sound of their own voice. My inner monologue was constantly indulging in thoughts of: Who does she think she is blogging about herself? Does she think she`s that important? What makes them an expert? What are they trying to plug? Where’s the scam? I suppose I was a credit to my 12 years in the Police Service, looking for ulterior motives and trying to find the fault in everything, so why is it that I find myself, the cynic now blogging? Oh my gosh, do I suddenly like the sound of my own voice? Do I now think I’m oh so very important? Am I trying to plug something? The answer is quite simply, no, no and Well YES, so that’s why there is a story or two to be told. In my past life I was a Police Detective & then a Safety Professional in the Mining Industry. My passion in life has always been based around helping people, I`ve kicked some massive goals in that regard with my police work, but that doesn`t mean I`ve been successful all the time, but I`ve learnt from my experiences and these experiences ultimately lead me to running a successful home business, and i think life has really just begun. For laughs I love travelling the world with my partner of 12 years and adventures with my crazy friends, life is never dull in fact we are heading over for another 7 week tour of Europe in a few months time (awesomeness) The reason we are heading over is actually for a business conference, so 7 days of that time will be spent cruising the Mediterranean with a bunch of vibrant, energetic people who just LOVE life. My business associates actually LIVE the life they want to, they are always at the cause of how they experience things & they don’t sit around whining about how unfair life can be (I love people who are responsible for their actions, I’m sure that’s a throw back from the police) Quite a liberating mindset that is: being at the cause of how you experience things…. Not at the effect of other people’s action It frees up a lot of time for you to do more productive things. Told you I would break a few blogging rules, apparently I’ve gone over my word count now Oh well one thing I will say for myself, I no longer pay that much attention to how ‘other’ people want me to live my life, that reminds me That’s the YES I mentioned in my first paragraph, What am I plugging? for me this blogging stuff starts and ends with Personal Development and all the stuff in the middle (being my life on display) should give you a laugh, a gasp and a few light bulb moments along the way. I’m here to inspire, motivate and encourage you to be the best you can, subscribe or do whatever you are meant to do to follow a person`s blog, but most of all check out my website, http://www.valueyourfuture.com.au and follow me along the way, Have an awesome week and don`t forget to count your WINS no matter how small they are.........rnJacinta (I must learn how to put one of those cool signature`s here)
