1. Rehydrate your Dog

Give your dog water frequently when it is suffering from diarrhea to keep your pet rehydrated. Check for rehydration mix in your home and add it to your dog’s drink so it can get electrolytes that are very helpful in keeping your pet hydrated. 2. Stop Feeding your Dog for a Day

Do this after the water diet of your dog. Do not feed your dog what you usually food you give it when it was healthy. Slow feed you pet bland cooked food in small portions. There are several recipes available which usually include rice. Discipline is required here since you might end up feeding your dog some dog biscuits which should be avoided together with bones. Observe your dog’s condition after two to three days. When the condition of your dog is getting better you can now increase the food portions. Do this in gradual stages for the next 3 to 5 days until your dog can return to its usual diet.
