Skin rashes are raised in appearance and are red in color and therefore may happen in any part of the body. Skin rashes are caused due to certain factors such as skin disease and allergic reaction. Some skin rashes may be contagious in nature.
Home remedies
There are several home remedies for skin rashes which are simple to follow and easy to use. Some of the popular home remedies for skin rashes are:
1. One of the effective home remedies for rashes in skin is the use of chamomile tea. All you need to do is take a cup of water and then boil it. Now add fresh or dried chamomile flowers (two to three tablespoons) in boiling water. Now strain the liquid and wait for it to cool down.
2. Mixture of ground cinnamon and honey are considered to be one of the most efficient home remedies for skin rashes. Just apply this mixture on the affected area to benefit from it.
3. Aloe Vera is also very beneficial in treating rashes in skin. Cut aloe vera leaf and apply its juice on the affected area. Or you can even apply the pulp of aloe vera on the affected area. Aloe Vera is very helpful in stopping the burning and itching sensation.
4. Take calcium water and soak a cotton cloth in it. Now place this cotton cloth on the affected area. This will reduce inflammation and give calming effect.
5. Take a tea bag and soak it in water. Now place this wet tea bag on the affected area. You can use chamomile or black tea for this home remedy.
6. Take ten to fifteen basil leaves, two cloves of garlic, a tablespoon of olive oil and salt. Now blend them together and apply this mixture on the affected area.
7. Witch hazel is very effective in treating skin rash. All you need to do is take one pint of water and boil it. Now add witch hazel bark to this water and leave it for almost ten minutes. Allow this mixture to cool and then strain. Take a clean cloth and soak it in this mixture. Now apply this cloth on the affected skin for half an hour. The witch hazel in this cloth will act as an astringent and will help in giving relief from the itchiness.
8. Olive oil is known to have therapeutic properties and applying olive oil directly on the affected area will help in giving relief from the symptoms of rashes in skin.
9. Baking soda is very effective in giving relief from the inflammation and redness associated with skin rashes. All you need to do is apply baking soda directly on the affected area.
10. Butter milk is very helpful in treating rashes caused due to food allergies. Drinking lots of butter milk on daily basis will help in keeping your body cool and heal rashes in skin.
11. Consume foods rich in vitami
C. Vitamin C is known to have antioxidant properties which is very helpful in battling skin rashes.
