It can be utilized as a good tonic food for anemia. The iron contained in it cane easily absorbed by the human body. Spinach is the leafy vegetable which is a rich source of high-grade iron. After absorption, aids the formation of hemoglobin and red blood cells. It is beneficial in the accumulation of blood, and in the prevention and treatment of anemia. Soy is rich source of iron and also has a high-protein value. While most of the anemic patients also generally suffer from a weak digestion should be given in a very light, preferably in the form of milk, which can be easily digested. Almonds contain copper grade of 1.15 mg per 100 gm. Copper when combined with iron and vitamins, acts as a catalyst in the synthesis of hemoglobin.
