Homeopathy for detoxification aims to treat you (the sick) with extremely diluted agents that, in undiluted doses, produce similar symptoms in the healthy. Although homeopathy sounds unconventional to the extent of being unorthodox, from my own personal experience, I have found it to be a method worth exploring as it has produced pretty good results.

Homeopathy for detoxification is based on holistic principles. It makes use of doses of natural substances that do not produce harmful side effects. In fact, homeopathic medicine has to be prescribed according to an assessment of your particular needs and health background. You cannot get homeopathic remedies off the shelf as you need to have a personalized consultation with a practitioner.

As with other forms of natural healing, do not expect instantaneous results from a single session of therapy. Healing proceeds in a gradual and systematic fashion. Your practitioner will ask you to try a certain homeopathic remedy for a period with a diagnosis and then help you to chart your progress. Your remedy may then be adjusted if needed after this period. This goes on until you are completely treated.

Homeopathy can help to detoxify and cleanse against both internal and exte
al toxins. These toxins can be harmful heavy metals, parasites and can even remove toxins from stress, mental imbalances and chemical changes. Homeopathy for detoxification can help you correct any imbalances that you may have. A body that is well is balanced body, mind and spirit. Toxins can upset this balance. They are intruders that need to be eliminated before any health can be restored. Toxins can be either internal or exte
al.

Internal toxins are the result of a poorly functioning digestive tract. That said, internal toxins actually come from the result of exte
al toxins. A compromised digestive system will result in poor digestion, leading to poor assimilation within the body, and ultimately in poor elimination of wastes. If wastes are not being eliminated quickly enough, or if there is an overload within the body, toxins will remain behind and are often stored in fat cells, causing internal toxicity.

Exte
al toxins include pollutants that are ingested through food additives, inhaling chemicals that are airbo
e, drug residue, minerals, and any other free floating radical in the air. Then, there is also the noise pollution, stress polluters and electromagnetic toxins from your cell phone, with city living. All of the above can cause changes within your body and weaken your immune system through loading you up on toxins.

Based on the beliefs in homeopathy for detoxification, there is no point in trying to cure any current ailment or prevent any illness until you have undergone treatment to remove the toxins. Any other form of treatment can be counterproductive if you do not eliminate the source of your problem in the first place.

Homeopathy is a form of healing that is widely practised in Europe. My practitioner actually hails from Britian. However, I was told that homeopathy in Germany and Portugal see even higher rates of growth. Using homeopathy for detoxification is less well known in the States, however. Perhaps this may change as more studies are conducted to examine the efficacy of homeopathy for detoxification. Americans with highly toxified bodies can then benefit from this form of treatment.
