During our teens and twenties, blood levels of hormones are at peak and start to decline as we enter middle age. Some of us witness uncomfortable body conditions like hot flushes or sudden rise in heartbeat along with extreme emotions such as depression or mood swings. These problems occur due to hormone deficiencies and if not taken care of at the right time, can lead to adverse health conditions and deteriorated quality of life. Some hormones such as estrogen and progesterone decline abruptly at menopause while others like human growth hormone (HGH), DHEA, testosterone, and melatonin weaken the body system through a much slower process. If hormone levels are monitored regularly from the ages of 20 through 40 a continuous downfall in their strength can be seen. Under such conditions, it makes sense to restore those same levels of hormones with hormone therapy and enjoy an excellent level of energy even with the advancement in age. rnDHEA, a very well known hormone, is produced by the adrenal glands. It begins to drop when we reach thirty and declines linearly until we die. In fact, natural death follows as soon as the DHEA levels hit zero. Many people use DHEA levels as a biomarker for aging. It plays a key role in lowering our cholesterol, minimizing fat deposition, keeping our hearts healthy, and preventing the development of diabetes and arthritis. A dhea replacement therapy monitors DHEA levels to assure optimal blood DHEA levels results in improved health conditions and slower onset of high blood pressure, diabetes and arthritis. rnTestosterone therapy has been promoted by some practitioners as a kind of antiaging and cure-all treatment for men and women alike. Testosterone hormone is responsible for sex drive, energy levels, lean muscle mass and mental acuity. Actually, testosterone treatment has joined the ranks of Viagra as one of most widely used method for men of a certain age who suffer from what has been described as male menopause.
