How many times have somebody moaned that their salary wasn't figured out correctly, that the active policies running the company are inefficient for inducement and development, or the facilities aren't well kept as according to standards? So when any of these obligatory elements fall apart who gets the blame? Yup you're right, the manager, who will be held accountable for his lack of either management skills or leadership but then, why if he is not competent, why has he been employed to start with. How could the HR dept and the CEO finish up hiring such an incapable worker to control the rest of the team? The HR is accountable for internal affairs and yet isn't recruiting both an internal and an external responsibility? Simply because of the lack of a dedicated recruiting agency. To see why, let's return to the general problem and then look at its causes. The human resources dept is accountable for lots of things in the corporation. Their responsibility can encompass staff's incomes, company moralev coaching, all sorts of benefits including pensions, insurances, reviews, as well as team building, etc... To explain, a massive quantity of 'urgent' work - not to mention the various issues and other HR concerns that come with managing people! Therefore, naturally, the most significant element of the way ahead for the organization ( the recrutement of its Human resources ) falls by the wayside. Here is where the issue truly develops as the Human resources dept lack of time will hinder its managing of the task which often can ultimately lead directly to the organization's rise or unavoidable downfall. The thing is that when a company hires a new worker a large amount of background investigations are required but sometimes the HR has too little time to handle them. They therefore depend on the candidate's resume, his / her good looks and overall behaviour - at a time where these candidates are at their best / most focused - to figure out whether she is worth hiring. Frequently the reputation and name of the high-school they graduated from is already enough to convince the HR dept to hire a candidate while some can get truly slack on the task and hire someone simply because they appear nice. This implies that the company isn't hiring people for their capability, talents and skils in actually performing the job they are designed to handle. It can only get worse from there because - as a result of this issue - the HR dep as well as the company's senior managers will have to exert a lot more hard work to mend the damage the hired staff member has brought about. All this might have been evaded with one easy solution : to hire a hiring agency. Through outsourcing what is an essential but not core function, the company would actually eventually gain great benefits. The HR task would then be clearly split into two complementary jobs : internal HR team on handling internal affairs, whist the service would be answerable for identifying, screening, and testing new applicants in order to fill the corporation's vacant position. All this is all done without obstructing the schedule, commitments and budget of the company itself. As a consequence, and now the company can target its current needs rather than onto stressing about inducting unsuitable staff, its productivity would eventually increase clearly! Then, the only remaining issue is weither it is really possible to literally identify and recruit good recrutement agencies. Yes, there's! Indeed, any recruitment agency which has been "around the block" for some time should be really able of managing the recruiting process through with good results apropos new candidates' recruitment. Their experience and information will allow them to go beyond the fundamentals of studying the contents of a person's resume, into the meat of the recruitment matter - identifying the best resource pools, making certain the best applicants are identified, screened, assesses and checked so as to ensure that the staff they actually propose forward is the best possible, allowing the company to entirely benefit from its investment. So don't waste time nor try to save on the cash that will actually return many times its initial investment. And thus - instead of looking next for the best applicant, look instead for the best recrutement agency and see your profits grow!
