Connectivity is an important factor when it comes to buying a property. Almost all buyers have connectivity on the top of their check list when they are looking to buy a home. Without this element there is no real way for residential properties in a micro market to find any traction. The homes maybe affordable but affordability without connectivity are like a boat without a paddle. It’s not going anywhere in a hurry. All the literature that is available to buyers always rates connectivity quite high. In fact there are those out there who will warn buyers off a property which does not have connectivity. And you would do well to heed their warning. This is because a micro market will not be as liveable if it is not well connected to the other parts of the city. Buyers usually shun areas which are not well connected. Because connectivity is such as big factor, real estate growth is seen more around the areas which have good transport infrastructure. Micro markets which are connected through Mass Rapid Transport Systems and other modes of transport that are effect an cheap do well even when the general real estate environment is not doing so well. Take for example Bangalore. This is a city which has made headlines for the traffic jams its residents face. You know you are in deep trouble when there are memes making the rounds about your city’s problem on the social media. Considering the city’s plight the Bangalore Metro project will be just what it needs. This project is considered to be the second biggest metro system in the country right after the Delhi Metro. There are about 30 stations in this project. Usually metro connectivity is very welcome by the real estate sector. Some of the best apartments in Bangalore are located near the metro stations. Metro connectivity pushes demand for real estate close to the stations. If a duplex house for sale in Bangalore is located within a 2 km radius from a metro station, chances are that it will see a price rise when the metro becomes functional. rnThe Bangalore Metro which is otherwise known as the Namma Metro has two lines; the Purple and the Green Line. The Purple Line runs between Baiyyappanahalli and Mysore Road while the Green Line runs between Sampige Road and Nagasandra. The public response to the project has been quite good with there being an increase in passengers using this service. Price for a residential property such as a duplex house for sale in Bangalore which is located close to the metro stations will go up anywhere between 20 to 30 percent over time. The residential micro markets which are located close to the metro stations might also see a spill over demand for homes. If you are looking for the best apartments in Bangalore, then you can keep the Metro in mind and start your property search. This is one of the better ways to go about your hunt.
