How can I be slim and stay slim you ask? Let me ask you? Do you believe in you?
The greatest asset you can have in life is indestructible self-belief.
Self-belief is feeling good enough. It's feeling that you can handle what life throws at you.
It's a healthy appreciation of your talents, characteristics and abilities. It's seeing yourself as special and entirely unique, like no other person on this planet. That's fabulous!
Do you really believe that you can lose weight?
Do you believe that you can keep the weight off?
Do you believe that you can say no when tempted with yummy foods?
If you don't, then that's what we have to look at and change.
How do you turn that lack of self-belief into absolute confidence that YOU CAN and WILL SUCCEED.
Well......there is some work involved.....o oh.......work......yes sorry! :-)
To begin, think of an area in your life where you are completely confident and feel you cannot fail.
How did you get to that point, are you a natural in that area or did you have to work hard to get there?
There are two things I would like you to do.......
1. Write down what areas of your life you think you would like to become more confident.
2. Write down the areas in your life where you are confident already.

Nothing too complicated, this little exercise is just to get your mind thinking on how and why you perceive yourself and your abilities.

Did it get you thinking about why you are confident in some areas and not in others?
I hope so!
It is all about learning new beliefs about yourself and putting them into practice on a daily basis!
Do you think some people are born fat and others are born thin?…..No, not really (well some have an amazing metabolism from birth, but not many). It is something we pick up along the way and form as a habit!
Then by the time we get to adulthood it can be a habit that is hard to get rid of!
If you think and say to yourself everyday “I am fat and can never be thin” then h e l l o!! There is not much chance that you will be anything else than fat and probably unhappy.
So…….
How To Change……

From today,…..this moment,…..now,…..you are getting my drift I think J I want you to THINK like a Slim, Healthy person……..mmmmmm how is that you ask?
Well for the majority of slim healthy people, they eat well, exercise and feel confident in their abilities and goals.
Now I didn’t say you have to do anything else except begin to THINK like a Slim Healthy person!
So that is your goal to begin…..Imagine how and what Slim, Healthy people do during the day and see how that feels………try that for a day or two and see how that feels and then you can go to the next step.

The next step! Ah ha now that you have had a chance to think like a slim, healthy person......it's time to start acting like one too.
You can start with something small if you like. You could cut out something in particular in your day and add something else.
For instance........cut out your mid morning cookie or cake and replace it with a piece of fruit or better yet.......a brisk walk or some sort of exercise! Cut down your plate size, change white bread into to wholegrain, cut out soda drinks, buy some weights to use at home while watching TV. Think about what a slim, fit healthy person would be doing and eating and copy it. Soon you will be forming good habits that will stay with you and keep you slim and healthy always.

To be slim and healthy, can be hard work to begin with, but the results will be well worth it!.
