The aim of your targeted email marketing campaign is to encourage consumers away from the competition and bring them to your stores or website and encourage customers to purchase your products or services as opposed to visiting competitors. You will find that email marketing campaigns are only going to work if the customer is interested in your products. If a customer is not interested then you run the risk of having them out your emails in a spam folder. If you mail manages to escape the junk folder it is still possible the customer will just delete it. If this is the case then it will have been a waste of time and money organising your campaign. Therefore, you must make sure that when executing your targeted email marketing campaign that you have sufficient interest from the parties you are mailing. If you fail to do this then it will end up costing your business time and money and result in wasted resources. Only when you are one hundred per cent sure that a consumer will be interested should you start to execute a targeted email marketing campaign. It will reach the right audience, it is much cheaper than other marketing strategies, and you are going to know that the consumer is going to come in to your stores, and make the purchases with you in the future as well.
