How can you stop smoking? Many people are looking for a solution to their smoking habit and as a result they begin to ask the question “how can you stop smoking?” Some people are now turning to hypnosis in order to answer the “how can you stop smoking?” question. This is the part of our mind we use to make rational decisions and do things such as mathematical calculations etc. There is a third part of the mind called the subconscious mind. This is the part of our mind that controls our habits basically. It is this part of the mind that we are trying to penetrate when we want to help someone find a way to stop smoking. This is the part of the mind where associations are made and where those smoking triggers are created. The subconscious mind can be influenced and it accepts anything you tell it as true. There are two main ways in which we can access the subconscious mind. One way is through repetitive commands. This can take a very long time though and it is the basis of positive thinking. There is also a quicker way to access the subconscious mind. This is through hypnosis which is really just an altered state of awareness. The first thing the hypnotist does is simply just get you in a very relaxed state. This will make it much easier for him or her to give your subconscious mind the commands and suggestions that you need to quit smoking. Basically the hypnotist will associate negative things with smoking and once these things are set in your mind it will become much easier to quit smoking.
