The database management means organising data according to the relevance of the information. In most of the recruitment companies, they have a strong candidates' data in their database system. With the help of database management, recruitment companies systematically manage data compatible with the organisational requirement. Database management covers different tasks such as creating or formation of database, updating data, cleansing, and mining data.

In general database mining is the process of analysing data from different perspectives to view its usability and trend in the information. In other words, the process of extracting knowledge from data is called as data mining. Essentially in the recruitment companies by querying, analysing human capital database discovers the talent, identify the competent candidate and recruit them. Strategically candidate mining is the process of transforming human resource database into an informational and competitive advantage. It is more than simply doing a Boolean search for the right candidate on social networking sites like LinkedIn or job portals.

Primarily to discover useful knowledge or information from the huge volume of data is a formidable task. Hence most of the companies use database mining software to sieve through volumes of data continuously to analyse and utilise data as per their requirement. In this way, RPO companies are the apt option for data mining in the event of recruitment; this saves time and money as well as give accurate results.

There is a possibility that the database furnished by the client organisation or created by the RPO Company. They do mining as per the prerequisite and job vacancy; which helps the client organisation to locate the most suitable candidate for the job. The professionals working with RPOs extremely investigate and determine the mining model for the organisation, which incorporates selection of database, choosing appropriate synthesizing technique, representing pattern space, and constructing algorithm. Database mining helps the recruiter to determine which candidates are most susceptible for the vacant position. RPO companies build talent warehouse, and they are expert in talent intelligence solutions which enable them to discover, identify and acquire most competent candidate for their client organisation at lesser cost.
