Cheated in the past? It's a real downer on even the "best" of relationships. Nothing kills trust faster for most men than finding out his girlfriend has been cheating on him.

Unfortunately, it's going to be a long rough and rockety ride to convince him that you're not going to cheat again. There is always going to be this little voice in the back of his mind that pipes up whenever you have an argument, turn him down for sex, or simply get on his nerves. It's a coping and defense mechanism for him. It really sucks for you though.

That doesn't solve your problem though. Your problem is that you have remained faithful and are working to get back in his good graces. You want to stay there and really work things out with him. So, what do you do to make that happen?

Convince Him He's Tops in Your Book

Start by letting him know, without a doubt, that he's the man! Men love to be the man. They especially want to be the man for the woman they love. The best way to do this is to give his ego a little extra stroking each and every day. It may feel a little over the top at first but it pays off nicely in the long run.

Let him know that he looks smoking hot in his favorite pair of jeans. Tell him how wonderful he is with that thing he does in bed. Make him believe that no other man could hold a candle to him in your eyes and you'll be amazed at how quickly he's singing a different tune.

To do this right though you need to do it well and do it often. More than anything; you need to convince him that you're sincere. False compliments and flattery will only make him more suspicious.

Avoid Suspicious Behavior

Stop going out with the girls at night or at least invite him along. Make sure he knows where you're going and call him if you're going to be late. These are little things you can do that will help him overcome his suspicions.

Stop having long, unaccounted for chunks of time during your day. He wants to know where you are and who you're with. Tell him. Make your life an open book. One day he might stop asking. Either way he'll be more confident that you aren't cheating on him if he feels like he's in the loop.
