How do I make my husband love me again?

Love yourself. Enough said. Ok, so maybe you’ll need a little more advice, but in everything I share here, remember to love yourself. Those 2 little words is what everything else hinges upon. When you know you are totally lovable and desirable, he’ll know it too. So, what do you love about yourself? For a while that was probably the most difficult question for me to answer. When I tried, all I could come up with was the list of things I didn’t like about myself. I didn’t like that I was so independent; I thought I didn’t need anyone; I wasn’t happy with my weight; I wasn’t happy with my need to be right; I wasn’t happy with my hair: I wasn’t happy with my butt. Shit, the list went on and on. And, I could sit there for minutes upon minutes and continue on with that damn list. So, as much as it’s important for you to make that list, if you can’t, start with the things you don’t like. Don’t dwell on it. Just make it without judgment. And don’t worry about how got you here in the first place. Don’t blame. Don’t get upset. Just write. Now, pick the 2 things on your list you would like to change first. Honestly, once you make that declaration and commit to doing it, it isn’t hard. For me, because I had such an issue with my physical appearance, I started there first. If you’re here reading this blog, you don’t need me to tell you how to change. You already know. Just make up your mind. If for example, you choose weight, drink tons of water. Give up soft drinks. Choose not to eat carbs. Whatever you do, keep the goal in mind, which isn’t the weight. It’s that your husband will love you again, or at least you’ll feel like he’s deeper in love with you. Once you start feeling better about yourself, you’ll see that he does too. A man likes a woman who is beautiful, but likes a woman more if she knows she’s beautiful. A man likes a woman who is confident, but will like a woman more if she knows she’s confident. See the idea here, is for you to love yourself. Haven’t you ever been in a mall, or park and saw what you thought was a not so attractive woman with the hottest guy you’ve ever seen? Why do you think that is? She thinks she’s hot. She walks with that kind of swagger, and expects the best for herself. And every decision she makes is with that in mind. You can’t help but make great decisions for something you think is worth every penny. That’s why she’s got a good guy. If you’ve been in your marriage for a while, chances are you’ve probably had some struggles; you’ve put everyone else first; and you’ve lost your way. Well, put yourself first. Don’t be selfish, just be important, important to you! Once you’re feeling a little better about yourself, you’ll make better choices. You’ll endeavor to do things differently, and your relationship will improve. Now might be a good time to make a list of all the great things about yourself. Read it as much as you need to serve as a reminder to yourself of exactly how awesome you are. Now if after all this, your husband still doesn’t love you, he’s the one with the problem.
